Poster Instructions The CBD S&T Conference will include two poster sessions. The first session will be on Monday, 15 November, from 1800 – 2000 and the second session will be on Tuesday, 16 November, from 1800 – 2000. Please see the Poster Session Agenda on this website to find out which day you are scheduled to present. Each poster presenter will be provided a 4 foot high by 8 foot wide space on a free-standing corkboard upon which to display their poster. Poster presenters should follow the below guidance: - Poster must utilize at least 50% of the 4 foot by 8 foot space
- Minimum font size is 16 point
- Poster must include at least one visual/graphic/picture
- The conference strongly discourages the use of printed PowerPoint slides in lieu of a poster
Monday’s posters should be put up between 0900 – 1300 and taken down no later than 1200 on Tuesday.
Tuesday’s posters should be put up between 1200 – 1700 and taken down no later than 1400 on Wednesday that evening.
Push-pins will be provided for hanging your poster. | Select Presentations of Top Posters | | The top six poster presentations from each poster session will be invited to give a five minute oral presentation during a special session on Thursday. Please see the conference agenda for the specific session time. The oral presentation should consist of no more than three PowerPoint slides and should include one take home message regarding your research. Please do not include anything beyond what is on your poster presentation so there will be no public release issues. The selection of the top poster presenters will be made onsite during each poster session and the presenters will be notified at the close of the session if they have been selected to give an oral presentation on Thursday. |
